Engagement Photo Shoot

In July, Dave and I had our engagement photo shoot done by Joshua Killeen Photography.  (please visit his website here) Dave and I were so happy with Josh's work and couldn't be more happier to have him as our wedding photographer on the big day.

We narrowed our location shoot to two obviously places.  One being The Griffin, which is where we met, or two The Bali Hai which is where Dave proposed.  In the end we chose The Griffin and decided that having a vintage themed shoot with a classic car would be totally appropriate.

Dave's friend Keith was so kind to let us borrow his 1941 Chevrolet business coupe for the photo shoot.

We had a lot of fun posing and it went by so quickly!

We had one clothing change into the outfits we were both wearing the night we met.  This was the exact same booth we got to know each other in.

We had a lot of fun reenacting the night we first met.  I wore the same Pin Up Girl Clothing green satin dress that drew his eye that night.

Wedding planning is going smoothly thus far.  My goal is to have most everything booked and planned by the end of the year.  Due to my work schedule I will not be readily available for planning January through April so I need to do some catch up work before the end of the year.  I know, I know, I have plenty of time.  Somehow it doesn't feel that way.

Till' Next Time,

Suz

    1. Thank you kindly Debra! I truly wish I had it in my budget to hire someone to take care of all the planning but I think in the end we will be happy we made it our own :)
